Arsenal FC Hiring for Finance Accounts Assistant Job at London, England Full Time

We are looking for a Finance Accounts Assistant who will support the Finance team across a range of areas, including accounts payable processing and cashbook processing.

Your day-to-day

• You’ll provide support to the Purchase Ledger Assistant to ensure that all purchase invoices are sent out for coding and approval on a timely basis.
• Liaise with our suppliers and internal stakeholders over queries and assist in the resolution of issues, reporting back to suppliers on progress and escalating where appropriate.
• Process Retail Cash Postings on a weekly basis for the shops, kiosks & online sales.
• Run monthly Retail reports, and book the sales and cost of sales figures.
• Reconcile bank accounts on a bi-monthly basis.

What we are looking for

• No formal accounting qualifications is required (training to AAT Foundation level will be provided).
• Someone proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Must have excellent attention to detail and be able to manage a high volume of data input, with a high level of accuracy.
• Enthusiastic, positive can-do attitude, dynamic individual, able to resolve ad-hoc queries as requested.
• Excellent relationship building skills with people of all levels, and someone who is a team player.
