Queensland Health Hiring for Medical Recruitment Officer Job at Brisbane Full Time

About the role

There are three Medical Recruitment Officers (MRO) within the Medical Workforce Unit. Each MRO is allocated a portfolio and is responsible for undertaking detailed processing of recruitment, appointment and employment services for medical officers at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH).

Technical knowledge and skills:

• High level of knowledge of key legislative and industrial requirements as they relate to engagement arrangements for medical staff in the public sector
• Demonstrated knowledge of payroll systems and processes and the ability to effectively use the functionality provided by Queensland Health’s payroll system
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat, as well as other hospital-based payroll and financial systems ie myHR, SAP and DSS or the ability to rapidly acquire such skills.
