The role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our high performing and highly collaborative HUB24 Finance team.
Reporting into the Finance Operations Manager the main purpose of the role is to own the end to end Corporate Credit Card transactions & reconciliation processes. You will work closely with various HUB24 business divisions and take ownership of various tasks whilst assisting the wider finance operations team with bank reconciliations, superannuation reimbursements, improving accounting & expense management systems and performing ad hoc accounts payable tasks for the HUB24 Group.
There will also be an opportunity to take ownership of wider finance tasks when HUB24 teammates are on leave plus gain exposure to some management accounting duties and senior stakeholder meetings with the Senior Manager, Finance Operations.

Key responsibilities
- Owing the process of credit card transactions from end to end including reconciliation and data uploading into current accounting system.
- Assist on the co-ordination of the statutory accounts for ASX, ASIC, and liaising with auditors
- Support the production of the yearly and half external reporting
- Assist the team with the Annual Financial statements’ preparation for subsidiaries, and regulatory lodgments (FS70/FS71) and liaise with external auditors
- Assist the team on issuing cost centre reports to cost center managers and the preparation & analysis of account and general ledger reconciliations across the group
- Assist in the preparing weekly payments to Suppliers, Employee Claims and reconciliation to bank transactions
- Accounts payable function – processing of invoices, reconciliation of supplier statements and payments to vendors
- Assist in the preparation of periodic payment time reporting
- Assist the team to provide accurate and timely reporting on the financial activity of business projects.
- Assist the FP&A team with actual costs to assist forecast, budgeting, and strategic projects.
Key requirements
- Plans to study or currently studying a CPA / CA qualification
- Experience in accounts payable and bookkeeping
- Financial Services industry experience would be beneficial but not essential
- Working knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Desire and willingness to learn and upskill whilst striving to achieve optimal results.
- A flexible and agile approach that enables you to effectively respond in a fast-moving and changing environment.
- A calm and considerate demeanour when working under pressure to meet deadlines or deal with difficult situations.
- A continual improvement mindset.
