About the role:

Reporting to the HR Director, our Talent Acquisition Partner will manage the end-to-end recruitment needs across the business, establish trusted relationships with our hiring managers and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

Your role will involve attracting and appointing a diverse range of outstanding candidates, providing a positive application experience, and working closely with our hiring managers to provide advice and guidance, helping us to hire efficiently and ensuring new employees have the best start to their career.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Shaping the hiring process to ensure a seamless and engaging journey for our candidates. You will spend time screening and building relationships with candidates and will guide them through the hiring process.
• Building strong and collaborative relationships with hiring managers and becoming a true partner to them. Sharing best practice, advising and supporting them with their recruitment. Providing training to new hiring managers.
• Managing applications through our recruitment ATS (Workable) and championing its use across the business. Ensuring we are using the platform to its full potential and are keeping up to date with any updates to its functionality.
• Sourcing candidates directly (as much as possible) and building a pipeline of talent for the business, using Linkedin Recruiter, Workable and other creative techniques.
• Creating role descriptions and preparing engaging job adverts that are attractive and in line with the company culture and values.
• Managing the offer process, ensuring a consistent and positive experience for candidates. Work with the HR team to ensure a smooth onboarding and a great new hire experience.
• Collaborating with our Marketing team to promote our employer brand, managing our Glassdoor account and driving employer brand content across multiple platforms.
• Being data-driven, analysing applicant data to drive our effectiveness. Updating the HR and senior leadership teams on current market trends and their potential impact.
• Managing our recruitment agency relationships
• Responsibility for our recruitment budget spend
• Being the point of contact for STEM activities, relationships with universities and career fares
• Recruitment related projects, initiatives, policies and procedures.

You will be:

• Action-oriented, committed to delivering results and being pro-active in finding solutions to challenges
• Able to coordinate multiple priorities and have effective systems to keep yourself on track and organized
• Have high attention to detail and the ability to successfully complete tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Discrete and comfortable handling sensitive information
• Experience of recruiting within the life sciences or technology sector is a must
• Experience of hiring in UK, Europe and US
