We have a position available for a Junior PHP Developer on a permanent basis to work from our office in Denton, Greater Manchester. As a PHP Developer, you will be focused on developing our existing SaaS and bespoke web applications, in a start-up like environment.

Contact Funnels is a small software development business which already has an office in Dorset and a number of successful applications under its belt. We are looking for ambitious, experienced, open-minded Web/Cloud Software Developers to join our team and grow with the company.

Essential skills & experience

• Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment
• PHP, MySQL
• Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities
• GitHub and version control

Desirable skills & experience

• Using IaC (Infrastructure as code) to manage and provision the system architecture
• Laravel, NodeJS
• Understanding of event driven architectures
• Understanding of Functional programming and reactive programming
• Developing cloud native solutions
• Modern testing methods and continuous code delivery
• Experience with core web technologies
• Experience designing and building micro-services

We are looking for the right candidate to work hand in hand with the owner of the company in building a large development team over the next 3-5 years.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
