Swinburne University of Technology Hiring for WIL Systems Specialist Job at Melbourne Full Time

An opportunity has become available for a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Systems Specialist to join our WIL Transformation Project team. This will be an exciting time to join the team and drive the uplift of university-wide product and service development, managing, guiding, and delivering development of the systems and platforms used for WIL from an end-to-end perspective.

There are nine strategic work packages (WP) as part of Swinburne’s WIL Transformation program, and this role will take a leadership role in WP 7: Review, streamlining, and redevelopment, where needed, of business processes and associated software systems which support our WIL activities.

As the WIL Systems Specialist, you will lead and collaborate with relevant parties, including external vendor(s), on the approach and plan, analysis, documentation and implementation of end-to-end solution requirements and acceptance criteria. In addition, the role is also responsible for collaborating with other Swinburne staff to support with development, testing, UAT, operational readiness, and post implementation support activities.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

• Experience with WIL systems and process improvement in significant sized educational projects, with demonstrated involvement in the delivery of outcomes.
• Demonstrated understanding of system improvement and overall project delivery lifecycles.
• Demonstrated experience in using WIL placement systems, such as InPlace or Sonia, and also career development platforms to enhance students’ career development learning.
• Experience with developing, implementing and embedding WIL system related changes into an organisation (i.e. through process, supporting standards, methods, guidelines and tools).
• Experience with common industry business analyst and project tools.
• Knowledge of AbIntegro, ATLAS, StudentOne, and other platforms that support work integrated learning and student administration is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• A degree with substantial subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training.
