The graduate recruitment & trainee development team is responsible for attracting, recruiting and retaining 33 trainee solicitors a year for this top tier law firm. Each year the team hosts and attends approximately 150 events around the country. The work, whilst cyclical in nature, is very varied and will change from month to month. The team is incredibly busy with peak seasons in the summer months and October to January. In addition, the team is also responsible for the development and pastoral care of all the trainees.
The team comprises of one senior manager, one senior adviser, one adviser, one assistant and an outreach programmes adviser.
The role
The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the firm’s established programmes and activities as well as helping the teams to support their client groups and goals with bespoke initiatives and exciting and innovative projects.

The successful candidate will be central to the success of the team, supporting across all aspects of the team. They will be a highly efficient organiser, with the ability to demonstrate initiative and work accurately in a fast-paced environment. Clear and confident communication skills are a must as this role involves dealing with internal clients at all levels and external contacts on a daily basis.
