We’re looking for a motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team!

The overall role of the Talent Acquisition Specialist is to recruit and onboard employees and manage the applicant tracking systems (ATS). The ideal candidate will be adept at leading recruiting initiatives to identify, select, and acquire quality candidates to drive organizational growth. To be successful, this role requires experience as a recruiter and the ability to attract the right candidate for each role.

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate with hiring managers to develop and execute recruitment initiatives to source new talent.
• Recruit and perform talent acquisition activities such as resume & phone screens, candidate interviews, recommend final selection of applicants and close qualified candidates.
• Arrange pre-employment testing, background & references screenings
• Place and update all job postings in various Medias including internet/intranet sites, social networks, community boards and staffing partners.
• Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
• Perform pre-screening calls with applicants to aid hiring managers in selecting and identifying top talent.
• Build a quality pipeline of candidates.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Two or three years of experience in a talent acquisition or similar role.
• Understanding of higher education.
• Knowledge of applicant tracking systems.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
• Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks
• Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
