Talent Acquisition Specialist

Elemental Enzymes is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing Human Resources team. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for finding, recruiting, hiring, and retaining talented candidates. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, experience in talent acquisition, familiarity with applicant tracking systems, and an ability to devise sourcing strategies for potential applicants. The successful candidate will join a team that is passionate about sustainable agriculture and biochemical based solutions.

Job Description

• Proactively supports the Human Resources Department by reviewing, screening, and interviewing applicants; posting job openings; updating the weekly job opening report; maintaining personnel records.
• Develops candidate pools through various sourcing methods to include job boards, online sourcing websites, social media, networking, external referrals, employee referrals, recruitment fairs, professional associations/organizations, college alumni/associations, diversity sourcing, etc.
• Works closely with all members of the HR Team to ensure the staffing needs of the company are being met, with a long-term strategy in mind.
• Maintains candidate engagement throughout the recruiting and hiring process, ensuring consistent communication, and creating an exceptional candidate experience.0.
• Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
• Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria to be approved by the Human Resources Manager.
• Coordinates and participates in various recruitment events, i.e., Campus visits, Career Fairs, Job Fairs.
• Tracks and reports metrics to update the Leadership team on time to fill, recruitment efforts, and intern to full-time conversion.
• Researches, develops, and implements effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.

• Works with the HR Team, Hiring Managers, and candidates to ensure a positive new hire experience by providing timely information throughout the process and ensuring key recruitment process steps are followed in a timely manner.
• Always maintains a high level of confidentiality.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of related recruitment and HR experience required.
• Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel with the ability to learn new or updated software.

• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.

• Familiarity with HRIS & cloud-bases sharing software.
• Demonstrate initiative and ability to prioritize responsibilities and work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent people skills including verbal and written communications and the ability to exercise good judgement related to sensitive information and events.
