Position description
An open opportunity for a recent and diligent graduate in Finance/Accounting to join a large team located in North Sydney. The role requires the successful candidate to utilise prior experience from their studies or experiences, whilst forming strong working relationships and having a system savvy mindset. This position is seeking a candidate who can start as soon as possible. This opportunity is set to be a 3-6 month Fixed Term Opportunity with the possibility to go permanent. The role may start with initial payroll administration duties and expand to a wider area of finance once established in the role.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with Payroll such as entering new employees, assisting with calculations etc.
• Timely and accurate data entry, collating paperwork and admin-based tasks pertaining to on-boarding to off-boarding payroll processing. You will also be responsible for complying with data integrity and security policies, printing and scanning files and generating reports.
• Answering internal and external general queries
• Liaising with operational staff
• Other general finance administration duties

The successful applicant should have:

• Recent Graduate in Accounting/Finance from a well-known University.
• Excellent communication skills, positive energy and determined mindset.
• Ability to follow directions and ask questions.
• Keen interest in the Accounting/Finance field.
