About our Client

Our client, a long-running equipment sales company, is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their team based in Surrey, BC in a permanent position. As the CSR, you’ll be responsible for the overall customer queries, and inquiries and supporting the managers. This job also includes a variety of administrative responsibilities. Responsibilities

• Managing the response to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically, or with walk-in customers
• Process sales orders, trial orders, and customer quotes in accordance with the current procedures and guidelines
• Gathering and updating all the relevant information required from the customers in order to fulfill the orders
• Orders for specially created items must include a customer-signed print or design for the item as well as upfront payment. Without exceptions, Documents must be added as an attachment to the item master
• Conducting inventory stock checks, which includes pulling up the stock of other branches
• Identifying if there is no price available email the manufacturer a request for a quote seeking price, availability of the product, and freight
• Maintaining that the correct procedure is followed for returned goods
• Attend and actively engage in all meetings scheduled by management, whether they are general in nature or focused on receiving appropriate training and product expertise
• Other administrative tasks that may be required

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service-related experience is essential
• High school diploma or educational equivalent is required
• Intermediate level of competency with Windows 10 and Office 365 applications
• WHMIS Certification; participating in certification and re-certification as and when required by the business
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrates problem-solving traits and has the ability to multi-task in busy situations/environments
• Displays excellent teamwork but can also work independently
• Reliable in all areas of work and the ability to be flexible
• Experience in the Industrial market.
