Are you an experienced Finance Assistant that would like a fully remote career?
The Finance Assistant plays a key role in team and business success. The role will report to the financial controller and support tasks that are pivotal to the finance team, completing items in an accurate and timely manner. This will include, but is not limited to, posting journal entries, liaising with stakeholders to bring about an accurate and seamless invoicing process, managing purchase ledger and supporting payroll.
What you will do as a Finance Assistant
- Posting journal entries
- Communicating with and supporting stakeholders to bring about an accurate invoicing process
- Creating invoices
- Liaising externally with our clients to ensure payment deadlines and terms are achieved
- Management of supplier invoices for approval and payment
- Providing support to payroll as and when required
- Undertaking additional task required to support the financial controller as and when required

About You
What we’re looking for in a Finance Assistant (essential)
- The minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role
- Demonstrable experience of working with an accounting system
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Numerate and with a high degree of accuracy
- Demonstrable experience of using Microsoft applications, Excel in particular
- Pace and agility to manage conflicting priorities
- Demonstrable experience of taking ownership for organisational tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
- Demonstrable experience of reporting on progress of important tasks and communicating with all levels of stakeholder
- Able to provide a home office and technology required to complete the role
- Be a brand advocate and able to demonstrate and apply our culture and values at every opportunity
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience of using SAGE preferred but not essential
