Autumn Adeigbo Hiring for Production & Fulfillment Assistant – HYBRID at New York, New York Full Time

DESCRIPTION:
Autumn Adeigbo is seeking an experienced Production Assistant to support our Production, Development and Fulfillment Team. The Production & Fulfillment Assistant  is responsible for supporting the Production Manager in the full garment lifecyle – from development through production to fulfillment and inventory management. As the ideal candidate, you have strong knowledge of garment construction including fabric and other raw materials. You’re experience includes luxury and/or contemporary womenswear and accessories. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and can adapt to shifting priorities. You thrive in the mercurial startup environment. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partners with the Production Manager and Warehouse for daily production and shipment needs to ensure on time deliveries.
• Package and ship DTC orders.
• Ordering of bulk trims, notions and packaging (polybags, shipment boxes, brand labels, barcode stickers, shipment materials for garments, tissue paper, hang tags, etc.) for DTC and Wholesale orders.
• Assist Production Manager with fabric and finished goods orders.
• Responsible for tracking fabric orders with Mills until final delivery.
• Maintain WIP report for weekly production meeting.
• Follow up production status and daily communication.
• Maintain daily production status charts, track goods on order, in-progress and in-transit to ensure timely delivery.
• Make PO requests and necessary revisions as needed. Follow up with suppliers to ensure a smooth and efficient production process.
• DTC and Wholesale product management – both RTW and lifestyle goods.
• Continuous cross functional collaboration with external and internal teams – Design, Sales, Operations, Transportation, Logistics, etc.
• Continuously looking for areas to make cost improvements and communicating to Production Manager.
• Build and analyze weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to monitor KPIs and transform insights into action.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in women’s RTW Production.  Luxury and/or Contemporary experience preferred.
• Highly energetic self-starter, able to think outside the box and work independently as well as in teams.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be flexible and have the ability to adapt to an ever-changing business.
• Working knowledge of the production and customer fulfillment processes.
• Tech pack / B.O.M experience.
• Must be extremely well organized and possess exemplary time management skills.
• Self motivated, strong problem solving skills, ability to work independently and prioritize workload in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to build and maintain collaborative cross functional relationships with internal and external teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office: Excel (data manipulation, pivot tables, v-lookup, sumifs), Word and/or Google Suite, Google Sheets, Google Docs, PLM softwares (Illustrator is a plus).
• Reporting and Analysis: Pulls data to create and update reports and charts, analyzes data, ensures accuracy, provides suggested actions/solutions to Leadership.
• Able to move heavy items – may include overhead lifting, pulling and pushing of items up to 25 lbs.
