Apprenticeship Careers Australia Hiring for Trainee – Early Childhood Educator Job at Adelaide Full Time

ACA are excited to be able to offer opportunities to join an amazing workforce of Childcare providers through traineeships as Early Childhood Educators.

Prior to placement into a traineeship, participants will undertake a 10-day FREE pre-employment program located at EQUALS International in Adelaide CBD commencing on 14th November, where participants will undertake both accredited and non-accredited training that will provide them with the required core skills to undertake a traineeship in (CHC30121) Certificate III in Early Childhood Education.

Units covered in the program:

HLTWHS001 – Participate in workplace health and safety

HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an education and care setting

CHCDIV001 – Work with diverse people

Child Safe Environments Certificate including RRHAN-EC

Successful participants will be selected at the completion of the Pathways to Employment in Childhood Education program to then commence a paid 12-month full time traineeship within the Childcare industry whilst completing their (CHC30121) Certificate III in Early Childhood Education on the 28th November 2022.

You must be prepared to complete National Police Check and Working with Children Check which will be paid for by ACA.

About the roles

• Earn while you learn – gain your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and be paid for on and off the job training
• Paying Above Award – $14 – $19.42 per hour pending age.
• Childcare workers responsible for tasks such as supervising children to ensure that they are safe, preparing activities and experiences, meeting children’s needs such as food, drink, sleep and hygiene, as well as their emotional needs. A traineeship in this sector will support qualified Childcare Workers.

Eligibility

To be considered for one an ACA traineeship you should:

• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or a permanent Australian resident
• Have a current South Australia Driver’s licence
• Must be 16 years of age and not at school at the commencement of the program
• Be able to commit to the 10-day pre-employment program from 14th November 2022
• Possess a kind and compassionate demeanour, excellent teamwork skills and can communicate with all Children, cultures, and backgrounds.
