What the position is
The Maintenance Training Coordinator is accountable for the Safety Management System (SMS) responsibilities described in the Company’s SMS Manual and Title 14 CFR Part 5.23. They will also be responsible for coordinating training, travel, vendors, processing documentation, and overseeing the overall daily operation of the Maintenance Training classrooms/labs as required by CommuteAir’s Maintenance Training Manual.
Essential functions:
Map out training plans and build training class schedules to support the needs of the Company.
Schedule students and instructors for required training classes.
Coordinate with department leadership and the Company Travel department to coordinate travel to/from training.
Design, prepare, and/or maintain stock levels of educational aids and materials in anticipation of an upcoming class or for promotion of a course.
Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment.
Perform accurate and complete entries for scheduling and coordinating classes and class completion.
Pull reports from LMS and AMOS to support training planning.
Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session.
Acts as a liaison between the Maintenance Training department and all other Company departments for training schedule.
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Manager of Maintenance Training.
General requirements & qualifications:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with Adobe and e-learning platforms (preferred).
Strong typing skills (60+ wpm with 98% accuracy preferred).
Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels.
Proven work experience coordinating multiple training events/assignments in a corporate setting.
