We are seeking a Bookkeeper with 2 years’ experience in finance and accountancy to join our fast-growing team.

Reports to: CFO & Management Accountant
Department: Operations & Finance
Key Stakeholders: Senior Management, Finance, Operations
Location: Office-based, Washington RH20

Job Summary

To work closely with the Operations and Finance departments to create and maintain robust accounting records and operational processes, manage bank accounts, invoice customers and maintaining stock records.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with staff, suppliers, customers, and clients about purchases and bills
• Managing staff expenses
• Updating accounts receivable & payable
• Issuing purchase orders, invoices, quotes
• Accurately reconciling accounts
• Stock control and equipment ordering, maintaining inventory records
• Tracking and assigning costs and expenses to projects

Requirements

E/D – Essential or Desirable

ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field – E

Proven experience in a junior accountant role or equivalent – E

Experience with MS Office, and Xero – E

Exceptional attention to detail – E

Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices – E

Excellent analytical and numerical skills, ability to use data to produce meaningful reports – E

Able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively – D

Salary: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
