The Operations team partners closely with ResMed’s five business leaders to understand their needs then providing a variety of products and services to help them meet those needs including Customer and Technical Services, Global Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, manufacturing, logistics and distribution. Focused on enabling new product introduction and operating excellence, our team strives to improve time to market for new products and services, improve efficiencies in our cross-functional processes, and improve our supply chain through digitization and automation to increase value add to our customers.
The primary role of Software Engineering group in Manufacturing systems is to create software solutions, designs and architecture for new products or improvements and enhancements to existing Manufacturing software systems.
This also involves managing the huge amount of data generated from our manufacturing process and extracting insights to improve the manufacturing process.
As a software group, we own the verification and validation ensuring high quality product by adopting industry best practices for Continuous Improvement or Continuous Development.
We work closely with other manufacturing design stakeholders, developers and other stakeholders to understand and define customer needs in these designs. Our deliveries are responsive to the needs of the business, we adapt our deliveries to match customer needs.
Let’s talk about Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain custom Hybrid Data Solutions (IoT, Machine Data, AWS, Snowflake, Elasticsearch and Tableau).
- Configure, monitor and improve machine learning based alerts and custom alerts.
- Design resilient and highly available architecture and integrate with C# .Net based applications.
- Design and sustain Elasticsearch stack by improving the Terabytes scale deployment and adopting latest capabilities of the stack.
- Design and maintain the infrastructure to meet business expectations covering customer satisfaction and effective cost management.
- Delivering improvement to existing application. Expanding on the existing frameworks and implementing new products and features.
- Ensuring infrastructure quality through automated testing and integration testing frameworks.
- Support in improving CI / CD activities by understanding and improving Github actions and achieve maximum build integration and automation.
- Conduct Validation and Verification of infrastructure designed by you as per medical regulation requirements.
- Software and system root cause and fault analysis involving multiple sub-systems. Identify and understand system issues, problems and opportunities, and draw appropriate conclusions.
- Liaise with other project stakeholders to help ensure that the system objectives are met.
- Communicate with peers and supervisors routinely, document work, meetings, and decisions
Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience
Required:
- Software engineering experience (1-3 years)
- Interesting software engineering projects if you are a Graduate Software Engineer.
- Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Ability to write testable (and working) software.
- Ability to think out of box and problem solving mindset.
- Quality focused mindset, since we are in medical domain.
Preferred:
- Exposure to .NET eco system (Visual Studio, C#)
- Exposure to Git or equivalent source control system.

- Linux ecosystem: shell scripting / python.
- Gherkin / Specflow / Cucumber or any BDD tools.
- Exposure to AWS.
- Exposure to Elastic / MongoDB or any document database.
