WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Diversity, Equality & Inclusion (DEI) Associate Talent Sourcer for the Global Specialty Businesses (GSB) will focus on accelerating the flow of diverse talent pipelines for roles across the US. In collaboration with the wider recruitment team, the role will support a wide range of roles, leveraging new channels in the market to identify, attract and assess critical diverse talent for this high growth business. In partnership with key stakeholders, this role will help develop GSB’s diversity sourcing strategy, along with leading sourcing of a strong diverse talent pipeline for future growth. The DEI Associate Talent Sourcer will act as a trusted advisor to others in the sourcing team by recommending creative and results-oriented ideas to cultivate a diverse pipeline.
YOU’RE GOOD AT
- Identifying high quality diverse candidates to fill key roles across the globe
- Proactively build underrepresented talent pipelines through online sourcing, events and sourcing campaigns
- Partnering with internal hiring managers and recruiters to understand the business needs, role requirements, candidate profile and define the candidate identification strategy for each position.
- Sourcing active and passive candidates through direct channels, social media, internet sourcing, talent mapping and relationship building.
- Providing consultative guidance on market insights, competitor intelligence and market demographics
- Clearly articulating and sell the BCG value proposition via candidate interaction, networking events, professional networks etc.
- Building talent pipelines to fill current and future roles through leveraging diverse user groups, blogs and networking events.
- Generating candidate interest through creative marketing and social media messaging
- Providing an initial screen and high-level assessment of a candidate’s knowledge, skills and abilities and overall fit with the role.
- Actively tracking, managing and reporting on candidate pipelines through the applicant tracking system
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 0-2 years Recruiting, or Talent Acquisition experience required with focus on developing diverse pipelines of talent
- Experience of talent sourcing across regions within an international organization is highly preferred
- AIRS diversity certification of interest but not essential
- Strong research and candidate generation skills
- Familiarity with current and emerging direct sourcing techniques
- Strong understanding of social media and how to effectively leverage the opportunities it presents for recruitment
- Polished interview skills and telephone manner with behavioural based interviewing experience
- The ability to manage multiple searches through strong project management and prioritization skills
- The ability to problem solved and think creatively around strategies for identifying quality talent.

The People Management Team (PMT) is comprised of several centers of expertise including HR Operations, People Analytics, Career Development, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition & Branding, Compensation, and Mobility. Our centers of expertise work together to build out new teams and capabilities by sourcing, acquiring and retaining the best, diverse talent for BCG’s Global Specialty Businesses.
We develop talent and capabilities, while enhancing managers’ effectiveness, and building affiliation and engagement in our new global offices. The PMT also harmonizes process efficiencies, automation, and global standardization. Through analytics and digitalization, we are always looking to expand our PMT capabilities and coverage.
