About the role

We are looking for a Finance Graduate to commence with us in mid January 2023. In this role you can expect to receive structured on-the-job training, learning plans and leader-led mentoring. We value flexibilty – this role offers you a hybrid working plan – 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

This is a permanent position. You will experience 2 rotations (12 mths each) with placements in Financial and Commercial Accounting. This will give you the opportunity to understand how each finance function works together, develop all-rounder capability and leverage this knowledge to then decide what direction you want to take your career in.

You will be trained and developed to;

• Manage the monthly general ledger reconciliation process, including the processing of transactions and journals
• Maintain the integrity of key balance sheet accounts
• Provide reliable and timely reporting & analytical support to the Financial and Commercial Accounting Teams
• Drive process and system improvements to enhance the financial reporting environment
• Support Commercial Finance and business leaders in developing and providing financial analysis, insights and reporting
• Work as part of the Financial Planning & Analysis and Commercial finance team providing financial, strategic, analytical and reporting support

About you
Our successful candidate willl come to us in the final year of completion of a *recognised undergraduate or graduate program of study in either Finance or Accounting OR completion of same within two (2) years of date of application.

Other key attributes we are looking for include;

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• The ability to influence outcomes through excellent stakeholder engagement
• A strong sense of Initiative
• Analytical skills & attention to detail
• Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook)
• Interest in the Agribusiness industry
• An ability to think strategically with sound problem-solving skills
