The Position

The role of Accounts Payable Officer reports to the Accounts Payable Manager.

Working as part of a friendly finance team, you will provide business and operational support and build effective partnerships to drive compliance and process efficiency.

• Maximum term contract (6 months)
• $60,413 per annum + 10.5% super + eligibility for not-for-profit salary packaging

You will use your skills and experience to meet organisational timeframes for completion of tasks in a fast-paced environment such as;

• Processing supplier invoices and supporting documents
• Liaising with Business Units to resolve invoicing related queries
• Processing client and staff disbursements
• Maintaining supplier master lists
• Monitoring and tracking compliance with organisational policy and procedure

Required skills, experience, and credentials

• Extensive experience in a fast paced, high volume team environment (we are currently processing approx. 7000 invoices per month)
• Ability to manage competing priorities with a flexible and positive approach
• High level of attention to detail
• Exceptional customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to providing the best service to our customers.
• Experience using technology including accounting systems and packages, email, and internet.
