Clearbox is a developer of Building Information Management (BIM) software systems. At the heart of our solutions is BIMXtra, which is a CAD-agnostic, collaborative, workflow driven, data management tool that integrates, gathers and analyses live and intelligent context sensitive information. With a secure, access-controlled web interface it enable greater collaboration across the whole project team. The main modules of BIMXtra are; our collaborative Document Management System aligned with BS/PAS 1192 standards, our Visualisation toolset allowing for full CAD model visualisation and 4d timelining and our onsite mobile toolset allowing for site forms to be managed remotely.
We’re currently recruiting for an IT Developer to be responsible for managing and maintaining our BIMXtra software platform.
Key Responsibilities
In this IT Developer role, you will work with the functional owners to understand the key requirements of the product and lead the team in the delivery of the product. You will also assess and manage the risks and resolve issues which affect the project scope and schedule, and monitor progress along the lifecycle to ensure application releases are delivered on time and within budget. The role will also involve assisting in the development of scrips and automation tools to build software releases and analyse test results in database impacts, errors and usability.
What do we need from you?
A critical thinker with really good communication skills and good attention to detail. You will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and a good working knowledge of programming techniques and languages, incl. but not limited to C#, Javascript and TSQL. You will also have working knowledge of test techniques and it’s compatibility with software programs and a solid understanding of software design and development methodologies.
