There is high demand for the Talent Search & Intelligence team’s specialist support to identify, attract and recruit senior hires across EY’s UK business. Reporting to the Head of Talent Search & Intelligence, the successful candidate will drive return on ongoing investment in our direct sourcing capability, drive innovation to maximise the commercial return of the function overall and will support the efficient management of the team. The chosen candidate will have a particular focus on the Tax and, likely one other service line.
We are currently transitioning to focus on senior level hiring, exclusively as a team. As such, the team will have increasing oversight to all elements of the senior hiring process, end to end. This will incorporate everything from obtaining a full brief from the business, search, insights & engagement, interview processes and offer management. The successful candidate will help design and develop this senior hiring model and develop objectives as we continue to grow the team, creating a true vision of success. As a market leading senior hiring function, we need to ensure we are consistently engaging with the very best senior talent in the industry, as such, this person will help up-skill the team to ensure this is done successfully.
Core Accountabilities:
Oversee the successful delivery of hires via direct sourcing, with particular emphasis on executing executive search mandates, especially at Director and Associate Partner-levels
Innovate and apply creativity in the development of sourcing strategies, efficiency of process and consistency in service delivery
Partner with the Head of Talent Search & Intelligence to shape a vision and strategy to ensure continual evolution of the team and its high-performance, collaborative and inclusive culture
Contribute to and deliver TSI’s response and support for key strategic objectives of the firm such as D&I and the NextWave growth strategy
Coach and coordinate training for the team to ensure best practice and to promote continuous improvement
Support recruitment and business stakeholders to shape a response to immediate hiring needs, developing an appropriate go-to-market strategy
Responsibility for effective management of TSI team members, to drive performance against key metrics such as volume of hires and D&I mix and to ensure high quality service provision
Performance management as a counsellor including managing disciplinary and performance issues as required
To qualify for the role, the successful applicant will bring:
Able to drive and deliver direct sourcing solutions at a senior level, underpinned by deep knowledge of candidate sourcing tools, strategies and methodologies
Highly developed knowledge and experience of delivering in Talent Acquisition/Executive Search and end-to-end recruitment contexts
Demonstrable ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholder groups, whilst being able to balance competing stakeholder pressures and priorities
Ability to lead, coach and motivate team members to deliver against commercial objectives
Commercial acumen, such that TSI return-on-investment can be ensured and maximised
Experience of delivering direct sourcing improvement initiatives to help to position the team to further impact the overall sourcing mix
Proven change management experience to make a meaningful contribution to the ongoing development of the TSI model and team
