Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

• 10+ years of experience as an individual contributor on backend systems

• Familiarity with modern container based deployment practices, Kubernetes, and GitOps

• Familiarity and experience with production quality and secure AWS technology stack deployments

• Deep understanding of data persistence and related technologies (RDBS, S3)

• Front-end experience building SPA-type applications (React/TypeScript/Javascript) that interface with APIs, and participation in the development of both sides of the stack

• Python and python-based web frameworks

• Ex: Django, FastAPI, DRF, Flask

Responsibilities

• In this role, you’ll be working on products that fuel high-growth companies in the eCommerce ecosystem that are ready to invest in data-driven decision-making to power growth for their business

• The role also requires vision to help establish the engineering culture, patterns, and practices that will serve as the framework for scaling our organization

• Work closely with the Office of the CTO (Engineering, Product, and Data Science) to help translate higher level initiatives into concrete, actionable tasks for the engineering function

• Implementing a new API using GraphQL to establish a more ergonomic and foundational surface from which new client products can surface data

• Designing and implementing abstraction layers that allow for us to rapidly build adapters for new $CRM integrations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 – $164,365.12 per year
