Kier Group Hiring for Finance Manager Job at Manchester, England Full Time

We are now recruiting for a Finance Manager to join our Highways Design team in Salford. The position sits within the Highways Finance Function, reporting to the Finance Director for Highways Design & Projects and is responsible for the SDF portfolio. An important part of the role will be building a strong network around the project so that you are the go-to person for the SDF contract. Location: Salford, Manchester – remote working available with travel to the office

Contract: Permanent, Fulltime.

Salary: £40k – £50k

Responsibilities

As Finance Manager, you’ll be working within the Major Projects Finance team, having responsibility for business partnering with the contract lead to manage to budgets, achieve cost savings and provide insightful reporting to Senior Management

Your day to day will include:

• accountable for the contract monthly profit and loss account, balance sheet and cash flow for the contract(s)
• provide insightful reporting to management to allow decisions to be made and areas of concern to be identified
• work with the Senior Leadership Team to drive contract performance improvement

Who are we looking for?

This role of Finance Manager is great for you if are a:

• qualified accountant or working toward chartership
• able to leverage off strong management accounting skills and relationships with departmental heads to deliver meaningful cost reduction
