This is a key role within the divisional HR Team. As part of the divisional Learning and Development Team, the Learning and Development Partner guides and supports in the delivery of all learning needs for the division, leveraging central support by building quality relationships across the business. The Learning and Development Partner is responsible for delivering and embedding excellent learning solutions, acting as an ambassador for the division both internally and externally, through delivering engaging and impactful L&D solutions for all in pub teams. The Learning and Development Partner inputs and supports embedding the learning and development elements of the divisional HR agenda, working to deliver the people strategy (Divisional People plan) and championing people innovation. The Learning and Development Partner also works closely within the wider central HR team on shaping, influencing and embedding the centrally managed and driven Learning and Development programmes as part of the (Group People plan)
Key Accountabilities
Responsible for the delivery of the team training experience for all in pub learning
Providing complete learning expertise and support to our operations team in a professional and commercial way, whilst always driving the culture, vision and values of Greene king through a divisional identity lens.
Key member and influencer of the regional management team – inputting solutions on culture, shaping people strategy ensuring individual regional requirements are considered where appropriate.
Providing top quality partnering to our function heads and HRBPs- ensuring we offer great learning interventions that support the needs of the business
Working with the Solutions Team to input on design, development and implementation of learning requirements for the division
Delivery of learning including Future Leaders, Induction and divisional development
Facilitation of measurement and analysis of effectiveness of learning solutions

Working knowledge of hospitality or retail operations
Relevant and meaningful experience in Learning and development partnering
Experience of working in the retail/leisure/hospitality sector in a delivery role
Strong evidence of leading and implementing Brand centric learning solutions
Understanding of the technical and system aspects of the hospitality business
Proven experience of interpreting L&D requirements and gap analysis from business strategy to action.
Experience of working within work-based education or apprenticeship programmes
