The Director of Student Recruitment is responsible for designing and executing strategies for student acquisition activities, KPI monitoring and analysis, process improvement, and best practices for implementation.
Essential Duties & Accountabilities
Hire, supervise, train, and evaluate Enrollment Outreach Coordinators
Plan, communicate, and implement recruitment strategies to meet enrollment goals
Develop and maintain relationships with potential students and their parents to encourage school enrollment
Research and stay well-informed of industry and market trends
Develop and execute plans to drive organic enrollment
Identify new opportunities and risks, assess options and take action to ensure growth, scalability, and sustainability of student enrollment targets
Create and document process workflows and controls as they relate to the sales cycle
Work cross functionally to plan and implement system-wide initiatives with strict adherence to timeline, budget, and resources
Establishes, tracks, and reports on Key Performance Indicators related to student acquisition, including ROI on key campaigns, staff performance, and conversion metrics
Develop and maintain key relationships with external entities which will enhance AMS’ ability to attract students
Manages and coordinates activities such as recruitment events, referral programs, and information sessions

Deep understanding of enrollment procedures and practices
Competent in managing, leading, and motivating employees
Experience in managing and manipulating complex computer data to generate reports
Experience in developing and implementing recruitment/sales strategies
Data analysis experience
Excellent organizational skills
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Google, Zoom, etc.
Ability to remain self-directed as well as independently seek out answers to questions
Excellent communication skills and ability to create a positive, supportive environment for school campuses
Ability to learn new software programs as needed
Must demonstrate an extremely high regard for confidential and sensitive information
Ability to maintain a professional appearance
Ability to resolve problem situations with sound judgment and exercise independent judgment and initiative in completing work assignments.
Requirements
3 – 5 years experience in a related field
Strong Computer Skills including Microsoft Office
Must be able to obtain and hold a valid IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card at all times
The incumbent in this position will be required to pass a criminal history background check
Must possess strong communication, leadership and organization skills
Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
