As the HR Manager – Employee Experience you will report to the Senior HR Leader, Boeing Defence Australia (BDA), you will be responsible for leading a team of experienced HR professionals based around Australia, responsible for the development and implementation of key people initiatives that support the long range people plan and BDA’s 2025 strategy.

The HR Manager will be accountable for the delivery of best-in-class HR support and will build partnerships across the business. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional and people leader who enjoys working in a growth environment, managing change and service improvement as well as day to day problem solving and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable for managing, engaging, coaching and developing a high performing team focused on delivering service and operational excellence
• Responsible for effective partnering and engagement across the HR Function, BDA business and the development and deployment of HR initiatives, tools and procedures
• Drive project implementations into the business via the HR Partners with their respective business areas
• Partner with BDA HR Partners to manage the implementation and administration of policies, processes and tools to support the implementation of key people initiatives including case management
• Keep up-to-date with industry leading edge best practices and emerging trends
• Provide oversight and guidance on HR processes and policy within legal frameworks.

Stakeholder Management Responsibilities will include:

• Partners with managers and leaders in BDA to build knowledge of HR strategies and how to execute on People goals
• Engage with Australia COE’s and other HR teams to deliver on joint initiatives and projects
• Forms part of the BDA HR Leadership Team
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

Qualifications

• 5 – 10 years’ experience (required) with at least 3 years of management experience leading a geographically dispersed team and stakeholder group (preferred);
• Experience of managing change programs and leading a team through change;
• Experience in leading a team of HR Partners delivering services within the Defence industry would be advantageous;
• Prior knowledge & experience of the Workday platform would be beneficial;
• Bachelor’s degree and significant demonstrable related work experience is preferred.
