About the role

Reporting to the Manger Finance this role duties include but are not limited to;

• Assist with the “month end” process including calculating and processing accrual journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts, to trial balance stage in accordance with internal reporting timeframes
• Maintain the fixed asset and operating lease registers
• Support the Finance Team with day-to-day tasks including accounts receivable, accounts payable and client funds management
• Perform administrator tasks for key finance systems and support the Finance Team in their use
• Assist with general enquiries from all stakeholders on finance related matters
• Prepare BAS returns
• Maintain and reconcile organisational bank accounts and facilities
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems, transactional processing, procedures and processes that support the timely and accurate recording and reporting of financial information in accordance with organisational policy and robust internal control practices.

What you’ll need to succeed

• 1-2 years’ experience in accounting field
• A recognised Accounting degree
• A desire to complete the CPA or equivalent. Study support provided.
• Strong attention to detail & accuracy
• Can think on the go and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient time & priority management to meet deadlines
• High-level problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret information and make specific recommendations
• Sound Microsoft Office Suite skills
