If so then my client has a brilliant opportunity for you to join their team as a Finance Officer. Working as part of a small finance team, you will have a varied role managing the day to day finances of this busy organisation who is a registered charity.

If so then my client has a brilliant opportunity for you to join their team as a Finance Officer. Working as part of a small finance team, you will have a varied role managing the day to day finances of this busy organisation who is a registered charity.
Duties will include:
- Maintaining the purchase and sales ledger – including preparing invoices
- Preparing all supplier invoices and credit notes for payment
- Process and input staff expenses.
- Control and reconciliation of petty cash.
- Prepare and post banking on a daily basis.
- Working with Finance Manager to manage the email “Accounts” Inbox.
- Provide cover in the absence of Finance Manager.
- Supporting the Finance Manager in the year end audit
Successful applicants will have experience of working in a busy finance team or come from an Accountancy Practice but will have previous experience in the above areas. A strong bookkeeping background would be highly desirable. You may be AAT qualified but experience in more important than qualifications.
You will also be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills as you will have regular contact with people across the organisation and external suppliers and customers.
