Bay Area Medical Academy is looking for an individual who has a passion for education and helping students from diverse backgrounds succeed! We have a friendly, entrepreneurial, collaborative, high traffic environment that requires prioritization, flexibility, and creative problem-solving.
The Admissions Representative is responsible for successfully recruiting and guiding prospects through the admissions process, educating prospects on our programs and continuing education courses, and representing Bay Area Medical Academy in a positive and professional manner.
*This position supports the San Francisco and San Jose campuses.
***Our school policy requires Staff and Faculty members to be vaccinated***
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Execute a high volume of phone calls to lead recruitment efforts in addition to assisting with Open House events and school tours
-Must be able attend Bay Area community events
-Create and maintain new employer/organization partnerships
-Maintain, track, and show results of recruitment activity
-Follow up with all assigned prospect inquiries and student leads as appropriate via telephone, email, and in-person contact
-Represent school at public events, including student events and career fairs
-Maintain detailed information on student prospects and complete students’ enrollment documents and forms accurately
-Maintain a pleasant and professional attitude and appearance, supporting a team-oriented work environment
-Follow best practices and comply with all company policies and procedures
-Uphold the highest levels of professionalism and ethical conduct
-Assist with additional team projects *
REQUIREMENTS:
-Related experience from the education environment; Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree a plus
-Possess excellent telephone skills and the ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic work setting
-Exceptional written and verbal communication and confident with presentation skills
-Bilingual in Spanish, Tagalog, Russian, or Vietnamese a plus
-Execute many complex tasks simultaneously and successfully
-Must have excellent computer skills, including extensive work with Microsoft Office with strong organizational and administrative skills
-Possess independence, initiative, and self-motivation, as well as the ability to work closely and collaboratively with co-workers are crucial
-Excellent interpersonal skills, patience, diplomacy, and tact
-Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, a professional demeanor and to represent the organization in a positive manner at all times
