The National Director of Sales is an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team of the AIM Institute for Learning & Research and reports directly to the Office of the CEO serving as Director of the AIM Institute. This position advances the AIM Institute for Learning & Research mission to ensure all students and teachers have access to evidence-based literacy instruction through leading work across the country to help increase awareness of why reading matters for student success. The National Director of Sales is responsible for supporting the sales processes and ensuring that sales consultants have an avenue to fulfilling their sales goals. The National Director of Sales will work closely with each consultant to ensure they meet their individual sales quota and the team to ensure goals are met.
This position provides an exciting opportunity for someone who strives to be a continuous learner of evidence-based practices and literacy research and wants to contribute to the success of a growing organization. The National Director of Sales will work closely with state, district and system leaders to assist sales consultants with successfully implementing AIM Pathways products and services. This position works in a cross-functional environment, supporting and assisting in other business areas. This position will allow a highly motivated person to apply their expertise to positively impact the course of education across the nation.
A significant aspect of this position is the recruitment and retention of a consultative sales team that is national in scope. This sales team works remotely and covers large, multi-state territories. The position requires expertise in sales strategy and sales success in meeting overall revenue goals that are national in scope. Client satisfaction and thought leader partnership are key. Preference is given to candidates with a track record of client acquisition and retention.
Preference is also given to candidates with knowledge of the educational technology landscape including state mandates for literacy learning across a wide range of state agencies.

Salary and Benefits
We offer a highly competitive compensation and benefits package for eligible employees. Additional benefits include life insurance, 403(b) retirement plan with automatic company contribution, and thirteen (13) paid holidays. In addition, full-time employees receive an additional 8 days of PTO over AIM’s spring break and winter break.
