DEPUTY HEADS OF EDUCATION

Location: HMP Fosse Way, Leicester
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Salary: Up to £36,124 per annum (Subject to experience)

MK College Group have exciting new opportunities for three Deputy Head of Education, one who will specialise in academic delivery, one who will specialise in vocational delivery and one who will specialise in support services such as Information, Advice & Guidance and Student Recruitment.

• The Academic curriculum includes English, Maths, ESOL, ICT, Personal & Social Development including Employability.
• The Vocational curriculum includes Construction, Carpentry, Painting & Decorating, Warehousing, Barbering.
• Support Services includes the Administration of the Education Department, Information, Advice & Guidance, Recruitment, Inclusion, Employment opportunities & the Library

All Deputy Education Managers will be supported by Prison Services Regional specialist staff

As a successful Deputy Head of Education, you will work closely with the Head of Education to effectively and efficiently manage all aspects of the department to ensure the day-to-day-smooth running of the department and its staff. You will manage a team of delivery specialists in their everyday work activities

You will support the Head of Education to plan and manage the deployment of staff and resources by supporting the department to deliver high quality courses that meets the needs of the students, the prison operator, and Milton Keynes College.
