We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to develop, deploy and sustain operations planning systems driving the optimization of manufacturing capital and planning in Folsom, California.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic planning processes and future of our NAND business. Through a detailed understanding of our business objectives and the manufacturing supply chain, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to architect and deploy world-class planning systems. You will be part of a supportive team working in a demanding and fast-paced environment that values safety, integrity, quality, creativity, results, and inclusion.
In this role, you will be the application owner for at least one of our long-range planning systems; responsible for maintenance, and continuous improvement of the system today as well as creating a vision and executing our application needs in the future.
You will be tasked to manage a team of 4-6 software professionals who are responsible for delivering results over many areas of the software lifecycle: design, developing, debugging, validating, and optimization, customer engagement, and product support. You will provide architectural and technical guidance and ensure that sound engineering practices are followed.

The position is associated with the sale of the NAND business to SK Hynix aligning to Phase 2 of the transaction. Employees aligned to Phase 2 will continue to be employed by Intel developing NAND technology and components. Phase 2 of the transaction is expected to close in March 2025 at which time employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition employment to Solidigm, a stand-alone US subsidiary of SK Hynix headquartered in San Jose, California with offices world-wide. Solidigm is a leading global supplier of NAND flash memory solutions, led by Robert (Rob) B. Crooke as CEO, previously senior vice president and general manager of Intelās Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 9+ years of experience in the following:
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 6+ years of experience in the minimum qualifications.
OR
Ph.D. degree in Computer Science with 4+ years of experience in the minimum qualifications.
