About the role
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join as our first Talent Acquisition specialist in the UK (working closely with the TA team in France). You will have plenty of room to improve our UK recruitment processes and scale within a high-paced start-up with a great culture, team and meaningful mission.
You will partner internally with each team, manage the recruitment process to deliver a fair and efficient interview process, and a great interview experience for every candidate. If you are excited about developing a great employer brand, understanding the business/ team dynamic to source the right candidates, and developing a pipeline of talent across all functions, this role is for you!

What you’ll be doing
  • Reporting directly to the Global VP of People & Culture and working closely with the Lead Talent Acquisition in France, the UK Leadership team and UK People Business Partner, you will be in charge of the UK hiring plan
  • Proactively manage the end-to-end process: role definition, JD with the manager, sourcing, scheduling interviews, facilitating selection, calibration to ensure the hiring bar is set to standard up to offer stage
  • Find and attract the industry’s best talent across both business and technical domains; build and maintain long-term relationships with talents in the industry partner with hiring managers to understand and anticipate hiring needs and develop creative strategies to engage top-of-funnel talent across multiple disciplines
  • Identify, engage, and manage candidates through the recruitment process up to the offer stage
  • Develop a compelling employer brand strategy
  • Continuously improve talent acquisition processes and technology based on data to improve overall performance (cost to hire, time to hire, quality of hire, retention & performance, employer brand, D&I, candidate experience feedback, etc.)
  • Develop Greenhouse ATS system to create a great experience for all candidates and future pipeline, with a fair and efficient interview process for all interviewers
  • Liaise and maintain great relationships with all relevant stakeholders, keeping them regularly updated on the recruitment progress and the external talent pool pipeline

About you
  • 4+ years experience in talent acquisition, ideally in-house or mix in-house and agency
  • UK Industry knowledge would be great (field technicians, repair engineers, technical experts, and maintenance engineers will be on your recruitment list on a regular basis)
  • Hands-on attitude with an ability to meet deadlines & recruit a few roles simultaneously
  • A passion for sourcing, and assessing talents from networks, job portals or direct approach
  • Able to advise hiring managers at all levels of the organisation
  • Able to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience using sourcing tools and applicant tracking systems to identify and engage passive, qualified candidates and manage them through the hiring process
  • Embraces curiosity and problem-solving mindset; able to learn about, research talent, and develop creative solutions to sourcing challenges
  • Tech-savvy and data-driven
  • Flexible attitude towards work and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Discipline and regard for confidentiality and legal compliance at all times
  • When information is unknown, able to be proactive and gather the relevant information to further inform decisions
