• Leads, manages team of executive recruiters to deliver top talent to support Global Risk Solutions’ experienced talent needs.
• Ensures team has clear goals, accountabilities and delivers against recruiting and sourcing KPIs and hiring strategies.
• Partners closely with peer Recruiting Directors to understand sourcing needs across the GRS recruiting portfolio.
• Consults with senior business leaders, stakeholders, peers and Sourcing Manager to create sourcing and recruiting strategies, operational plans, and tactics to support planned and unplanned talent needs for the business.
• Develops strong partnerships with senior leaders and stakeholders and provides insights regarding external talent industry trends, labor market insights, and competitive talent landscape.
• Attracts and develops high-performing recruiting team. Fosters a culture within team that promotes, recognizes and rewards continuous-improvement, best practice sharing and “outside the box” thinking.
• Coaches team to create a simple and intuitive candidate/manager hiring experience; ensure recruiting and sourcing tools are effective, optimized and widely adopted.
• Encourages and influences experienced recruiters and talent sourcers to develop and implement specific sourcing and recruiting plans with an emphasis on quality and diversity of hires, process efficiency, and a strong recruiting experience for candidates and hiring teams.
• Develops strategic sourcing and experienced recruiting partnerships and relationships with third party organizations in support of talent needs for the business as needed.
• Provides guidance/counsel to senior managers on succession planning, recruiting and retention issues
• Communicates labor market trends and practices to senior management. Performs research to gather competitive data and diversity trends to educate and communicate to internal clients
• Partners with office of DEI and champions Talent Acquisition DEI priorities within team and ensures these are reflected in the team’s day to day work.
• Leverages PowerBI, key metrics and analytical insights to evaluate team effectiveness and enhance the overall performance in supporting the business.
• Coaches and supports team to be consultative partners with senior leaders, hiring teams, and stakeholders.
• Builds overall team capability in planning, sourcing, and assessing talent for their assigned portfolios.
• Operates with a cost mindset and recognizes opportunities to reduce expense or maximize investments

Qualifications

• An advanced level of knowledge in full lifecycle recruiting components for a variety of position levels and in-depth understanding of current and developing talent acquisition programs, theory and practices is preferred
• Demonstrated leadership ability in a related context
• Strong customer focus, business acumen, process management, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to build strong professional relationships and gain support among stakeholders at a variety of levels as normally acquired through a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 10 years of experience with a minimum of 5 years in a management position, preferably to include full lifecycle recruiting on a national and executive level as well as prior recruiting management experience
• Experience in corporate and search firm and/or experience working in a large recruiting environment preferred
