Mamamia is Australia’s largest independent women’s media company, with a decade-long reputation for being on the pulse of what women are talking about. If the Mamamia brand were a person, we’d be the one you can’t stop talking to – we’re candid, warm, honest and inclusive, and every day we’re telling new stories you can’t turn away from.
We are seeking experienced front-end and back-end developers, with a minimum of 5 years experience, to assist with the implementation of an online media publisher, along with exciting new e-commerce products. We utilise full-stack JavaScript solutions, progressive technologies, and serverless architectures. Successful candidates will be working in an experienced team, with plenty of opportunities for growth and reward for achievement.
We are looking for technically minded individuals with strong communication skills to become part of our team. To succeed in this role you will be reliable, team-oriented, self-motivated, have excellent time management skills, and demonstrate strong attention to detail. You will be passionate about web development and have a strong interest in improving processes. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential.
This is a full-time remote role and open to anyone in areas within 3hours of the Australia (AEST/AEDT) timezone, who wants to join a growing team of talented individuals building tomorrow’s eCommerce applications.

About us
We’re fast-paced and innovative, and democratic when it comes to strategies and ideas.
We’re small enough that you can create real and tangible change, and have your voice heard, and large enough that we can support your ideas with experienced, industry-leading teams, and deliver them to an audience of millions of women every month.
The core purpose of Mamamia is to make the world a better place for women and girls, and we live this philosophy in the content we create, and with the work we do with our charity partner, Room to Read. The independence and empowerment of women starts with universal literacy, and since 2017, Mamamia has supported Room to Read’s Girls’ Education Program, which breaks cycles of illiteracy in Asia and Africa. We’ve funded the education of tens of thousands of girls, and Mamamia staff have visited the schools where we’ve made an impact.
As well as being a meaningful and exciting place to work, Mamamia offers:
Mamamia is an equal opportunity employer, all applicants will be considered regardless of your race, sexuality, religion, colour, gender identity or parental status. We strongly encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to apply.
