We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition Officer to join our expanding HR team in Exeter.

You will join a fantastic team of HR professionals who are continually striving to improve the service we provide to our employees. Putting them at the heart of everything we do.

You will work closely with the Recruitment Coordinator on the front-end recruitment activities, being the face of City West Country to any potential candidate. You will provide a professional head hunting service to bring in the best talent into our four businesses – Mercedes-Benz South West, Tangelo, Snap Car Hire and Carparison!

Salary

£25,000 – £30,000 per annum

Working hours:

Monday to Friday 08.00 – 17.00 or 08.30 – 17.30 with a 1 hour lunch break

Talent Acquisition Officer Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver brand and attraction initiatives to build our reputation in the marketplace
• Be our brands ambassador by promoting the company social media presence and engaging/training managers in use of these tools
• Talent Pipeline Management-Devise systems and processes to identify talent for specific areas of the businesses
• Offer a professional Head Hunting function to our businesses
• Establish and continually develop a diverse range of candidate sourcing channels to maximise the number of qualified candidates within our talent pools
• Build value adding relationships with external sources including: universities; colleges; careers fairs; job boards; agencies
• Ensure the effective use social media to build a bank of talent including the integration of the channels where possible
• Act as the recruitment champion and eliminate any waste in our processes
• Help produce periodical reports of recruitment effectiveness and efficiency
• Support hiring managers and HR Advisors with the preparation of job descriptions, competency profiles, selection/assessment toolkits
• Participating in candidate evaluation and selection processes including initial screening and shortlisting when needed
• Partner with the HR Advisors and hiring managers
• Understand our internal talent pools and provide opportunities for internal mobility making use of our ‘Aspiring Managers Programme’.
• Deliver against key performance indicators (KPIs) of quality, time, cost, sourcing mix and candidate/manager experience
