The People team

The People team is formed of a CPO, a Head of People Ops, a Talent & Development (T&D) Manager, Talent Acquisition Manager, Talent Resourcer and an HRBP. What you’ll do

Our Talent & Development team are focused on driving individuals and company performance through nurturing a learning culture and growth mindset within our teams and an environment which empowers everyone to drive their own personal and professional development. A lot of the groundwork has been completed to ensure effective professional development frameworks exist which give clarity around capability and performance expectations, and part of our role is to create, facilitate and deliver learning opportunities and interventions which build skills and knowledge we need now, and to pre-empt, prepare and be ready for the future needs of the organisation and our people.

Reporting to our Talent & Development Manager, you’ll be a key part of this small, visible and close-knit team and will deliver the Flagstone T&D strategy day to day. You’ll be providing first line support to Flagstone Group employees and stakeholders for training and learning bursary queries, training scheduling and will become the technology subject matter expert maintaining data in key systems, including our learning management, performance and 360 system and our workplace learning platform, Learnerbly.

Your responsibilities will include (but won’t be limited to):

• Contributing to the creation of T&D initiatives that drive a successful high-performance culture where individuals feel valued and goals are achieved
• Implementing and administering L&D processes – making use of new and existing systems to deliver a great learning experience
• Acting as T&D technology subject matter expert (SME) for key systems, including LMS, 360 appraisal system, and Learnerbly. This includes upskilling the business through the creation and roll out of training guides and virtual workshops
• Management of learning databases ensuring up to date and accurate at all times, including training requests, materials, records, learning progress, evaluation and events
• Proactive support to T&D Manager, acting as first point of contact for queries and communicating clearly with stakeholders to track and assess spend, record course attendance and feedback; building attendee pipelines and tracking feedback
• Ensuring that new joiners quickly integrate into our business and accelerate their performance through an effective company induction and onboarding experience
• Partnering with relevant stakeholders to assist in the management of mandatory training to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Providing project support to T&D and People team members as required, taking ownership of allocated projects
• Producing monthly, and quarterly reports for learning activity and tracking evaluation

What you’ll need

• Ideally, you’ll have 18months’ experience as an administrator as part of a HR team (eg. Recruitment, HR, Learning) or as training coordinator but very open to other related experience
• Experience of working in a high growth, change driven environment would be highly advantageous – at times there will be lots of priorities and it’ll keep on your toes so a cool head and being comfortable with context switching is a must.
• An interest and confidence in presenting or delivering training/workshops etc. virtually and in person is essential
• An inquisitive mindset is essential, comfortable with challenging ideas and ways of working open-mindedly and curiously
• Previous experience of administering and maintaining data integrity in a learning management system (LMs) HRIS OR Applicant tracking system (ATS) would also be an advantage.
• Confidence in communicating with a variety of stakeholders to a senior leadership level
• Experience of producing management information
• Systems savvy with mid/advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Has a keen eye for detail
• Certificate level 3 CIPD or a keenness to achieve would be useful but not essential
