Accounts Administrator, Wilmslow

Part time role, £12.50 per hour, 20 hours per week

Gascoigne Halman Estate Agents are established as the area’s leading estate agency with 23 branches across South Manchester, Cheshire and the High Peak. The Accounts Administrator will be responsible for the accurate entry of purchase and sales invoices into the accounting system and associated query resolution. The role will report to the Finance Director.

The role will be based in our small and friendly team at our Wilmslow HQ.

This is a part-time role, covering 20 hours per week, ideally Monday to Friday but there may be some flexibility.

This role will cover various accounts related duties including:

• Purchase invoice coding (general ledger account and department) and entry into the accounting system
• Purchase invoice query resolution, liaising with external suppliers and internal departments in order to ensure invoices are allocated correctly
• Sales invoice entry into the accounting system and allocation to the relevant department
• Filing and archiving of documentation
• Other ad-hoc duties as they arise

Our ideal Accounts Administrator has the following attributes:

• Experience of working with an accounting system and invoice entry
• Experience of working to deadlines
• Organised and able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent prioritisation skills
• Educated to GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics
