Savvy Staffing is currently looking to hire a Bookeeper in South Grafton, MA.

Schedule:

• Temp- Perm position
• Monday- Friday
• 8:00am- 5:00pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable/Receivable:

• Timely and accurate entry of inbound invoices into file management system
• Matching inbound invoices to receiving paperwork- investigating any discrepancies
• Entry of invoices in E2 (ERP system)
• Collating bills due for payment
• Occasional preparation of paper checks for one off or time sensitive payments
• Scheduling ACH payments
• Coding of Credit Card charges into E2
• Clear and professional communication with customers to coordinate payment and troubleshoot any billing discrepancies
• Timely escalation of customer payment issues
• Maintain petty cash receipts and prepare replenishment through A/P warrant process
• Assist in preparation of the year-end reports for audit program

Customer Service:

• Ability to answer and make telephone calls
• Manage various customer accounts using our ERP system. Including but not limited to:
• Order entry
• Invoicing
• Expedites
• Order cancellations
• Job tracking
• Late order reports
• Updating customer accounts
• Navigate necessary documents on the computer to access company information
• Use the copy machine to copy, print, scan, and fax
• Organize paperwork both physically and electronically
• Communicate with the shop and office when needed

Collaboration:

• Coordinate with internal peers to ensure timely and accurate receipt of necessary supporting documentation for invoices
• Coordinate with external accounting firm to troubleshoot any reconciliation issues
• Follow/provide input on accounting policies and procedures with appropriate internal/external counterparts.

Human Resources:

· After introductory period: Able to process payroll and complete any necessary documentation with it

Job Requirements:

• 1-3 yrs small to mid-sized business bookkeeping experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
• JobBoss ERP system experience a plus, but not required
• Basic understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
• Excellent with Microsoft office programs
• Strong Excel skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and be an active team member.
• Strict attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills.
• The ability to remain focused and prioritize in a bustling environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality around sensitive financial information.
• Takes initiative and gets the job done.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
