HSBC UK Distribution is a newly formed business bringing together 8,000 colleagues across several different channels to support 14 million customers with their Retail Banking needs across a multitude of products and services. As the Distribution Director for Strategic Workforce Planning & Customer Partnerships, you will utilise best in class practices and both internal and external partnerships to design and deliver enhancements that tangibly improve colleague and customer experience. You will establish opportunities for strategically aligned growth initiatives
Key responsibilities within this role include:
Acting as the voice of colleague and customer across Distribution establishing key themes and insights around opportunities for improvement and partnering to make tangible improvements
Establishing internal partnerships to elevate our customer experience overall with additional focus on strategic customer segments and those where we have a duty of care to offer more bespoke support
Partnering across HSBC Retail Banking and beyond to deliver an organisational model for sustainable growth with customer at the heart
Taking ownership for key colleague lifecycle events and leading a culture of development and coaching ensuring we retain talent and remove any barriers to internal opportunity
Requirements
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
You need to be a lateral and visionary thinker displaying curiosity and creativity to generate innovative solutions to problems in order to deliver organisational goals.
People and/or Customer Service strategy background in a relevant sector with a proven track record of positively impacting colleague and/or customer experience
A track record of delivering significant change, which improves the business in a way that inspires and engages those around them.
Experience of working in an environment of ambiguity, with autonomy, dealing with major issues for which there may not be a clear solution whilst being able to provide judgment and clear direction.
Understanding of external market trends and ability to interpret, anticipate and utilise to HSBC’s advantage.
This it is a hybrid contract but you will be expected to attend business offices as and when the business need dictates.
