Futurex Hiring for Integration Engineer Job at Bulverde, TX Full Time

Futurex is seeking talented individuals with a passion for technology and an interest in technical writing to join our Integration Engineering team. The position can be based out of Futurex’s Engineering Campus, 15 miles north of San Antonio, Texas.

The Integration Engineer role is a hybrid between integration testing and technical writing. Qualified candidates have strong troubleshooting skills, demonstrated experience working with complex technology, and are adept at making sophisticated concepts understandable to readers of varying experience levels.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Test and document integrations between Futurex’s enterprise-grade data encryption hardware and third-party applications that need to store keys or certificates within the confines of a FIPS 140-2 Level 3 validated hardware security module
• Understand industry-specific APIs and protocols used when interfacing with external systems
• Troubleshooting issues that arise during the testing process
• Communicating roadblocks to the software engineering team so that necessary code changes can be made to support new or existing integrations
• Working closely with the software engineering team to understand new features that have been implemented for integration projects

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree
• Broad information technology background
• Aptitude for quickly building an understanding of complex technical concepts
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Motivated, self-starting, and eager to learn
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
• Superior attention to detail

STRONGLY PREFERRED

• 2+ years of experience in a cybersecurity-related position
• 2+ years of technical writing experience for enterprise B2B technology
• Experience with TCP/IP networking
• Experience with multiple architectures and platforms
• Experience with Linux, OpenSSL, scripting (Python, Perl, Bash)
• Experience with version control software such as Git
