We are seeking to appoint three candidates to post as Lecturer in Finance for full time permanent roles in our department.

The role:

You will join the Accounting and finance Subject Group. This ambitious, growing team consists of academics on Learning and Teaching or Research pathways who make significant contributions across all strands of endeavour.

Applicants will be expected to provide our students with an outstanding learning experience as well as to make a significant contribution to research and/or scholarship subject to the pathway selection. This post is open at Lecturer (Grade 6) on Learning and Teaching or Professional Practice or Research pathway.

Essential requirements

• Masters level qualification in the relevant discipline
• Demonstrable evidence of a teaching/training specialisation
• Commitment to sustained continuous professional/academic development
• Willing to teach overseas, primarily in China and Hong Kong.

Desirable requirements

• Doctorate/PhD is desirable
• Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy or a strong willingness to achieve membership within 2 years of appointment

Salary: £ 42,155 – £51,805 per annum (Grade 6) + Pension (Employer contribution of 23%)
