Software Engineer

Due to major growth we are expanding our Engineering team in Sydney and currently looking for a Software Engineer to join the team.

In terms of our tech stack, we’re hosted on AWS (mostly ECS) containerised in Docker. In the containers, we run Node using TypeScript which also bleeds over to our client-side where it’s mostly React. Our databases are PostgreSQL.

What you will bring to the role:

• Experience implementing and using event-driven architectures
• Cloud development (we are hosted on AWS)
• Containerisation (Docker and/or Kubernetes would be great)
• Strong fundamental knowledge of OO and Functional programming paradigms
• A collaborative approach to software engineering
• An inclination to learn from and the patience to teach your colleagues
