Need someone recruited for: Embedded, cloud architect, Devops, mechanical, R&D, software development engineer.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• You will partner with hiring managers to develop job specifications/requirements, competencies, make salary recommendations and negotiate starting salary with candidates

• Work with leaders in the Software Engineering function to understand current and future needs building a strategic plan to recruit the best talent for the organization

• Evaluate job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, and other data pertinent to identify the best talent for the team

• Source candidates, manage workforce demands and develop networks to ensure constant flow of qualified candidates using various tools such as social media, career fairs, agencies and recruiting contractors

• Phone screen and conduct interviews to recruit prospective employees

• Manage applicant tracking system and use other tools to support the hiring process

• Ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the Recruiting process

• Identify inefficacies and bottle necks in recruiting processes/systems and determine how to remove, improve or solve them.

• Partner with internal stakeholders i.e. HR Business Partners, Finance, Talent Management, Total Rewards, Immigration Team as required

Qualifications – External

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, or an advanced degree and 2+ years of experience

Nice to Have

• Excellent writing and communication skills

• Experience recruiting different functional areas of software engineering

• Knowledge of employment related regulations such as EEO, AAP and OFCCP

• Experience with Taleo, Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, Eightfold, MS Teams

• HR/TA Certifications

• Experience sourcing diverse talent using a wide range of channels

• Experience recruiting in the medical device industry for software engineering functions, preferably at client

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
