Job Summary

Supporting the Technical Team, the Engineer will be responsible for Technical Land 
Acquisition support, Technical Coordination of a project, the management of legacy site 
adoptions and supporting the technical team regarding Engineering Design and Road and 
Sewer adoptions.

Principle Accountabilities

• Provide the technical due diligence on land acquisition sites and prepare technical
  reports for land acquisition

• To procure the necessary surveys and investigations to complete the due diligence 
for land acquisition

• To visit potential land acquisition sites and carry out a visual survey to support the 
  due diligence

• Prepare constraints plans for land acquisition

• Management of the technical design and delivery of sites from planning permission

• Supporting the Technical Director and STMs in legacy site adoptions

• Where necessary assisting the technical team in progressing live sites towards Road 
  and Sewer adoptions.

• To manage external consultants to ensure deadlines are met.
 
• To attend site visits and meetings, as required, in order to resolve any problems that 
  summarise during the construction process.

• Provide engineering and technical support to the site teams.

Person Specification

• Experience of working within volume house builder / 
consultancy-based role.

• Ability to be able to express technical information in a 
clear and concise manner.

Qualifications and training 

• Qualified to degree level or HNC/HND in a 
Construction / Engineering subject with relevant 
experience

• CSCS card or equivalent

• Current full driving licence
