Job Description:
Amherst College invites applications for the Budget Analyst
position. The Budget Analyst is a full-time, year-round position
starting at $61,545 – commensurate with experience. Given Amherst’s
distinction as one of the most diverse liberal arts colleges in the
country, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ways in
which they bring value to and will work towards supporting a
broadly diverse community.
Under the supervision of the Director of Financial Planning and in
collaboration with the Senior Budget & Treasury Analyst, the
Budget Analyst executes essential processes, including the annual
operating and capital budget processes, salary and fringe benefit
budgets, and aspects of the month-end and year-end closes. In
addition, the Budget Analyst serves as the budget office’s first
point of contact for a highly diverse set of campus partners.
