We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join us in that effort.

About the Dev Team

• At HealthFirst, we don’t silo our developers and engineers. Instead, we work closely with other departments to deliver the solutions needed to drive growth.
• We’re a small team, and we’re not a traditional software company. That means each of us has to be very cross-functional, and we have both the freedom to design the right solution and the responsibility to own that solution and deliver.

JOB SUMMARY:

• We are looking for a senior full stack engineer that can take a project from requirement gathering through to delivery.
• Work as part of a team to design and implement clean and scalable systems.
• Microservices that automate and drive our fulfillment process
• OnTraQ, a webapp that give healthcare providers at-a-glance clarity into their practice’s compliance and preparedness for an emergency
• Event-driven notifications
• Business intelligence and reporting
• Build automation
• Technologies we’re using now: Node.js, PHP, Angular, RabbitMQ, Docker, TeamCity, C# .NET, RFID, SQL Server, Power BI

SKILLS

• High level of technical expertise and broad knowledge of software development lifecycle, and programming
• 5+ years’ experience building high-performance and scalable enterprise systems.
• Demonstrated skill designing REST webservices for distributed applications.
• Proficient in a back-end web server language.
• Proficient with relational databases, including procedure design and tuning.
• Comfortable implementing clean and usable user interfaces.
• Experience working in collaborative and agile environments.
• Experience in designing and implementing Microservice

EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of experience building application using JavaScript libraries such as Express.js
• Experience with a component-based JavaScript library (React, Vue)
• Experience building public REST based API
• Experience in docker and orchestration
• Experience building Microservices

Pay: $127,783.00 – $138,877.00 per year
