ESCP Business School Hiring for Finance Executive Job at London, England Full Time

The Finance Team at ESCP Business School is currently looking for a Finance Executive to be based at the London Campus situated in Northwest London.

The Finance Executive will be responsible for the Daily running of Accounts receivable and Accounts payables function. Assisting in any finance and non-finance-related project.

Knowledge Skills and Experience

• AAT Level 4 Qualified/ studier or studying towards ACCA/CIMA

• Minimum of 2-3 years strong all-round accounts experience

• Excellent Excel Skills

• Excellent Attention to detail

• Excellent organisational and communications skills

• Able to work well under pressure, manage time effectively, and able to show flexibility and adaptability when required.

• Ability to show initiative and work independently as well as within a team

• Ability to prioritise duties.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (AR) duties:

• Client Invoicing (Students and others) – creating clients in SAP & raise invoices;
• Credit control: Ensure that payments (Students and others) are received in due time, chasing up if necessary;
• Processing incoming payments;
• Dealing with AR queries and emails.

Accounts Payables (AP) duties:

• Reconcile Supplier’s invoices to Purchase orders before import into the Accounting system;
• Processing all outgoing payments in SAP (incl. Direct Debits) and Barclays;
• Monthly reconciliation of Credit card and travel agency statements;
• Raise POs for the FINOPS department;
• Dealing with AP queries and emails.

Finance Duties:

• Prepare end-of-year entries (deferred incomes, prepayments, and accruals);
• Maintain Fixed assets register and prepare journals;
• Assist the Finance Team with ad-hoc Budget and Cost control tasks.
