A new role has arisen for an experienced HR business partner to join our management team to develop and deliver a proactive, high quality human resources service through collaboration with the management team. Based at Poole and travelling across the region, you’ll be providing support to the development and delivery of HR strategy, and supporting the Board and management team in all HR matters. This role will be busy, and interesting and provides an opportunity for you to make an impact.
You will be dealing with all aspects of HR, continuously developing the HR function through digitisation, process improvement, and coaching; to contribute to increasing employee skills and flexibility in the business.
You’ll build effective partnerships with the wider management team, supporting managers in meeting their objectives and suggesting innovative solutions to people management challenges. In addition, you’ll manage HR data protection matters, administer key HR systems ensuring and maintaining data accuracy, and identifying trends and opportunities to develop and improve people management, development, and recruitment practices.
You’ll also advise on, coordinate and manage where appropriate, grievances, disciplinary appeals, redundancy, tribunals, and other HR matters in accordance with employment legislation and our policies.
About You
You’ll have (essential requirements):
· At least two years’ experience working in an operational role.
· Demonstrable competence as general HR practitioner and all aspects of HR service delivery.
· The proven ability to work across multiple teams and functions in order to deliver the best result for the organisation.
· The ability to take ownership and work independently, as well as enjoy working with and coaching colleagues to achieve goals.
· Clear, accurate and concise written and spoken English.
Ideally ….
· CIPD level 5 or equivalent
· Knowledge of GDPR
· Experience of successfully partnering and influencing senior leadership teams.
· Experience of working with a union.
· Experience of successfully managing a budget
